My name is Maya Guez I am a New York city based photographer and this page showcases some of my work.... I came to the US 4 years ago for a job opportunity and have been doing fashion, glamor and beauty photography here in NYC...I am also responsible for most of the art direction style, make up and hair in my portfolio...check it out and hit me up if we can do business...
"Maya Guez was born in 1980 in a small town in Israel. Today at the age of 25 She is a noted fashion photographer and makeup artist based in New York. She has worked with many publications and companies across the world doing fashion, beauty and glamour photography.
Maya was brought up in a underprivileged family with 4 siblings. Around the time of the Gulf war her mother became the family sole supporter because of her fathers illness. At the age of 16 she moved out of her family's home to live in Tel Aviv where she started to work nights to put herself through school and help her family's finance. After finishing a 4 year study of fine arts in Israel, she continued onto photography school and fashion design school.
In 2002 she moved to the United States and worked with the publication house "Blue Print" as well as continuing to work in Europe with the French production company "Avalanche Productions".
Maya Guez is currently working under a stock photography/film/production company in New York that has enabled her to work under an artist status in America and has her own photography studio in Manhattan. Guez's body of work is very diversified and consists of high fashion and beauty models, recording and preforming artists, famous athletes, urban flare models and publicity for motion pictures."
